A Case Report of Bone Remodeling Occuring in the Region of the Shoulder of Linkow Blade Implant

Abstract
I am proud of my success, that have performed Linkow blade a patient, 46 years old female with the unilateral edentulous area. The success of permanent prosthesis supported by fibrous osseointegrated implant is ultimately associated with the
initial
maintenance of a stable bone and implant interface.
I performed Linkow blade on the extracted area of the left lower 1st molar a month later. One month after implantation, I also made super structure(permanent prosthesis). During this time, the mesial shoulder of blade was not covered by the dense
bone,
but bone-bonding of the distal shoulder of blade secured to the implant and supported it firmly.
I had checked up film over three years after implantetion, and bone attachment around the fixture had occured. This process resulting from the activity of osteoblasts and osteoclats in bone is called "Bone Remodeling".
"Remodeling", bone resorption and bone apposition occures on bone forever to the end of life. I this case, I term "The more time bone has, the more density bone has."
In conclusion, now that over 3 years have passed, I fine the dense bone around the shoulder of blade, also the patient is satisfied with the good results functionally, esthetically, paychologically and economically.
